Artist-Workshops

An essential part of disability and d/Deaf culture is the use and further development of various accessibility tools. These include, for example, the use of audio description or sign language(s) as part of the artistic aesthetic or the adaptation of work and rehearsal structures based on tools and methods such as Access Riders. Several times a year, Making a Difference offers digital and analogue workshops for the further education of disabled and d/Deaf dance professionals in Berlin, led by local, national and international artists who have already firmly anchored forms of Aesthetics of Access in their practice. These include Sophia Neises, Chisato Minamimura and Jess Thom, among others.
